Brick Breaker 3D: Scoring, Special Bricks and Strategy
Start with the angles
Where the ball hits the paddle decides where it goes next. The centre sends it straight up, while the edges send it sharply left or right. Use the edges to reach bricks in the corners.
Know your special bricks
Red bricks explode and damage everything nearby, so break them in the middle of a cluster. Ice bricks take two hits. Yellow bricks fire lightning at the two nearest bricks. Gold bricks score triple and always drop a gem.
Catch the gems
Green gems widen your paddle, blue gems slow the ball and pink gems give an extra life. Slowing the ball is especially useful on higher levels when the speed climbs.
Build a streak
Six bricks in a row without touching the paddle sets the ball on fire and increases your combo bonus. At higher levels some rows slide sideways, so aim for where the brick will be rather than where it is.
