Balloon Blitz: How Scoring, Targets and Combos Work
What counts as a good shot
Balloons that are further away are worth more, from 10 points up to about 18, because they are harder to hit. Golden balloons are worth 50 and rise quickly, so shoot them first.
The target boards
Round target boards slide across the sky. Aim for the small gold centre for 50 points and an extra second. The middle rings give 25 and the outer ring gives 10.
Combos
Every hit adds to your combo, and every five hits raise the multiplier by one, up to times five. A miss resets it, so wait for a clear shot rather than firing wildly.
Watch out for bombs
Bomb balloons have a 💣 on them and pulse. Hitting one ends the game immediately, so check what you are aiming at before you fire. Green clock balloons are always safe and add five seconds.
