About the game
Balloon Blitz is a 3D shooting gallery with a 60-second clock. Balloons drift across the sky and round target boards slide past, and you tap or click to fire. Chain hits to build a combo multiplier, shoot green clock balloons for extra time, and hit the gold centre of a target board for a big bonus. Bombs end the round if you shoot them. The credits you earn can be spent in the shop on boosts for your next run.
How to play
- Click or tap where you want to shoot
- Chain hits without a miss to build a combo multiplier
- Shoot green clock balloons to add time; golden balloons are worth extra
- Never shoot a bomb; one hit ends the game unless you bought a Bomb Shield
- Open the shop to buy Rapid Fire, Time Bonus, Bomb Shield or Score Surge for your next run
- Use the speaker button to mute the sound
Scoring
Balloons are worth more the further away they are, and golden balloons are worth extra. On the target boards the gold centre gives 50 points, the middle rings 25 and the outer ring 10. Every five hits in a row raise your multiplier by one. Your best score is saved on this device, and you earn credits for the shop.
Tips and tricks
- Aim at the gold centre of a sliding board; it is worth far more than a balloon.
- Keep your combo alive by only shooting when you are sure of a hit.
- Look closely before you fire, because bombs pulse and carry a 💣 mark.
- Buy a Bomb Shield first if bombs keep ending your runs.
