About the game
Snake 3D takes the classic arcade snake and puts it on a glossy, shadowed 3D board. Steer your violet snake around the arena, eat the pink fruit to grow longer, and avoid the walls and your own tail. Every five fruits raises the level and speeds the game up, so the challenge always keeps pace with your skill.
How to play
- Arrow keys or WASD to steer; on a phone, swipe or use the on-screen arrows
- P pauses, C switches between the overview and follow camera, M mutes
- Golden gems are worth 50 points but disappear after about seven seconds
- Boosts appear every few fruits: slow time, double points, ghost mode and shrink
Scoring
Every fruit is worth 10 points and a golden gem is worth 50. While Double Points is active, both are doubled. The level rises every five fruits, which makes the snake faster but does not change the points per fruit.
Tips and tricks
- Plan your turns two moves ahead instead of reacting at the last second.
- Keep the snake in open space early on and avoid curling into a tight spiral.
- Save ghost mode for the moment you have wrapped yourself in, then slip through your own body.
